Comedy has a remarkable ability to build bridges, spark conversation, and remind us of our shared humanity. Comedy for Peace features three nationally recognized comedians whose diverse life experiences and unique perspectives create an evening that is both hilarious and deeply meaningful.

The evening’s lineup includes:

Tehran Von Ghasri, one of comedy’s fastest-rising stars, whose perspective as Black, Persian, Muslim, and Jewish has captivated audiences nationwide. Featured on Comedy Central, HBO, and FOX, Tehran blends cultural insight with unforgettable humor.

Leah Bonnema, an acclaimed comedian and writer known for her sharp wit and fearless style. She has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen ColbertThe Tonight Show, Comedy Central, and SiriusXM.

Erik Angel, an Israeli-Jewish-American comedian and founder of Comedy for Peace, has performed around the world and opened for comedians including Maz Jobrani and Zarna Garg. Drawing from his experiences as an immigrant, husband, and proud Israeli, Angel uses comedy to foster connection, empathy, and understanding.

“At a time when our nation often feels divided, laughter reminds us of what we share,” said Rabbi Kolby Morris of Har Mishpacha. “Comedy for Peace is about creating space for people from all walks of life to come together, laugh together, and leave with a greater appreciation for one another.”
